UBCC is one of the largest and most successful clubs at the University. UBCC enters four Men's teams and one Women's team into the British Universities and College Sport (BUCS) competition.
The club prides itself on its welcoming nature with all abilities and backgrounds contributing to our thriving club. We are able to cater for all abilities; whether that be professional cricketers playing first-team cricket in the top division in the country, or the social cricketer who would prefer to play a midweek T20 friendly against a local club.
UBCC train all year round, with indoor nets and competitions in the winter preparing our members for the start of the season in April. As a member of UBCC, you will benefit from elite coaching regardless of the standard of cricket you play, find out more about our coaching here.
UBCC also has a thriving social scene, with weekly socials throughout the whole year. We believe that socials play a huge part in being a successful club. Wednesdays see UBCC begin in Allstars Sports Bar before ending in Gravity where we join all other sports clubs. Socials are a way of meeting some of the greatest friends at university and are guaranteed to leave you with lifelong (hazy) memories.
Not only do we take part in weekly social events, but we also organise larger events such as a black-tie alumni dinner, a golf day, and a tour.

We run two teams that play in the Bristol and District League. All league games are on Saturday afternoons, with home games played at the University Sports Ground, Coombe Dingle.
We currently run two teams in the Bristol And District League boasting one of the best grounds in the league Coombe Dingle . We run pre-season nets from January onwards and use the Sports Centres fantastic outdoor nets free of charge throughout the summer months. We also enter a team into the SuperCric8 indoor sports evening league and hold a number of club social twenty20 games at coombe.
We are not all members of Staff. We welcome any new players regardless of where you come from! As a club we take our cricket relatively seriously but like nothing better than a cold beer and a curry washed down with a bit of post match banter!
