The intramural cricket T10 blast fired off at Coombe Dingle. The tournament, organised by UBCC, pits society teams against each other across the summer term.
Intramural sport aims to open sport to a wider spectrum of students who might not otherwise play university sport and this competition has certainly done that. While the brevity of the summer term means the matches can only be 10 overs each way, there is still room enough for players of all ability to enjoy some cricket in the sun.
This year should be another exciting tournament with opportunities for UBCC members and non-members to get some more cricket to play in the summer without the same time commitment. With the quality of cricket at the university progressing every year, intramural finals day will be an unmissable event!
